The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Medina County in south central Texas...
  Bandera County in south central Texas...

* Until 1100 AM CDT

* At 805 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area, which includes all of Bandera 
  County and portions of Medina County along and north of Highway 
  90. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen with isolated 
  totals over 5 inches possible before the rain intensity decreases 
  by 9 am. Flash flooding is imminent.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Medina, Hondo, Castroville, Bandera, Vanderpool, Tarpley, Lacoste,
  Lakehills, Cliff, D'Hanis, Bandera Falls, New Fountain, Dunlay,
  Quihi, Mico, Pipe Creek, Lost Maples State Park, Rio Medina and
  Bader.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 AM CDT FOR
MEDINA AND BANDERA COUNTIES...

At 935 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area of Bandera and much of Medina Counties. 
Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen, with another inch of rain 
possible through 1030 am. Flash flooding may already be occurring.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Medina, Hondo, Castroville, Bandera, Vanderpool, Tarpley, Lacoste,
Lakehills, Cliff, D'Hanis, Bandera Falls, New Fountain, Dunlay,
