    PDT THIS EVENING FOR THE LOWER MIDDLE KLAMATH AND TRINITY 
    COUNTY ***

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 204 and 283.

* THUNDERSTORMS...There will be a potential for isolated to 
  scattered thunderstorms with lightning activity level of 
  3 impacting the area. Fire crews should be aware that gusty 
  and shifting winds are possible in and around thunderstorms.

* IMPACTS...Storms will be accompanied by some rainfall but given
  the amount of lightning expected and that fuels are very dry the
  likely result will be numerous new fire starts. Gusty outflow 
  winds may contribute to fire spread. Even with some rainfall, 
  initial attack resources may be overwhelmed and holdover fires 
  are likely.
