...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening. 

* TIMING...Gusty westerly winds will ramp up in speed this afternoon
  behind a cold front that swept through overnight. The strongest
  of the gusty winds will prevail through the afternoon hours and
  subside with the setting sun this evening.

* WINDS...Sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph are expected, with gusts
  to 45 mph during the afternoon hours. 

* IMPACTS...Driving high profile vehicles will be difficult.
  Additionally...any lightweight objects left outside will be 
  blown around. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of at least 30 mph are expected
with gusts to 45 mph. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.

cancelled the Wind Advisory. While winds are still rather gusty
across the region, speeds will quickly come down in the next hour
