This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will continue to develop
overhead and move into the region from the western Great Lakes. A
few severe storms are possible through the evening with damaging
winds to 60 mph, one inch hail, and flooding rain all possible. In
addition, a tornado is possible in the vicinity of the warm front
mainly along and north of the I-69 corridor through the Tri Cities
and northern Thumb. Storm motion will be southwest to northeast at
25 mph.

A second round of storms is expected overnight as a cold front
approaches and moves through lower Michigan. These storms are not
expected to be severe but may be capable of half inch hail and 40
mph wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There is a chance of thunderstorms Friday morning into early Friday
afternoon as a cold front clears the State.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Lake Erie, Lake
Huron and Lake St Clair.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will continue to develop
overhead and move into the region from the western Great Lakes. The
strongest storms will be capable of damaging winds to 50 knots and
one inch hail. In addition, a waterspout is possible in the vicinity
of the warm front mainly north of Port Huron through Saginaw Bay.
Storm motion will be southwest to northeast at 20 knots.

A second round of storms is expected overnight as a cold front
approaches and moves through Lake Huron and lower Michigan. These
storms may be capable of half inch hail and 35 knot wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There is a chance of thunderstorms Friday morning into early Friday
afternoon as a cold front clears the State.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT MACOMB COUNTY...

At 1251 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Sterling
Heights, or 7 miles northwest of Mount Clemens, moving northeast at
15 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

This storm will be near...
  Mount Clemens around 105 PM EDT.
  Macomb Township around 110 PM EDT.
  New Baltimore, Richmond and Armada around 130 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include New Haven, Shelby
Township, Ray Center, Chesterfield Township, Clinton Township, Utica,
Washington and Fraser.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized ponding of area roads. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

NORTHEASTERN OAKLAND AND NORTHWESTERN MACOMB COUNTIES...

At 126 PM EDT, radar indicated the leading edge of an area of strong
thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near Hadley to
near Oxford. Movement was northeast at 5 mph.

These storms will be near...
  Lapeer, Romeo, Almont, Dryden and Metamora around 215 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Leonard, Lakeville,
Lake Orion, Attica, Thornville and Elba.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm near
Milford, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  West Bloomfield around 445 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Keego Harbor, Orchard
Lake, Commerce, New Hudson, Walled Lake, Bloomfield Township, White
Lake, Wolverine Lake, Wixom and Bloomfield Hills.
