Strong winds will lead to high waves, up to 14 feet, along the lakeshore today. The waves will slowly decrease late this afternoon and evening but remain high. Dangerous conditions will occur along and near the water including beaches, piers, breakwalls, and rock outcroppings. Being near the lake could be very dangerous. There may be some flooding and beach erosion as well in lower lying areas.
