Isolated to widely scattered strong to marginally severe thunderstorms
will be possible late this afternoon and evening. Any developing storm
will be capable of producing up to quarter size hail and gusty winds
up to 60 mph.

Strong to marginally thunderstorms will be possible late each day
through the weekend, capable of producing up to quarter size hail
and gusty winds up to 60 mph.

Hotter temperatures are likely by the early to middle part of next
week with highs expected to reach around the century mark.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN SEWARD...WEST
CENTRAL MEADE AND SOUTHEASTERN HASKELL COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM CDT...

At 459 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles north of Kismet, or 5 miles west of Plains. This storm was
nearly stationary.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Plains, Kismet and The Hobart Elevator.
