...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 653 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with very heavy
rain along a line extending from Lakemont to near Ogletown. Movement
was east at 55 mph.

Expect poor visibility and ponding of water roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Hollidaysburg, Blue Knob State Park, Martinsburg, Queen, Ogletown,
Roaring Spring, Ski Gap, Lakemont, Canoe Creek State Park,
Duncansville, Williamsburg, Claysburg, Royer, Woodbury, Saxton, East
Freedom, Newry, Peoples Natural Gas Field, Blue Knob Ski Resort and
Altoona-Blair County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

At 711 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from near Lake Erie State Park to 10 miles north of
Grove City. Movement is east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible.

Locations impacted include...
Warren, Scandia, Lottsville, Youngsville, Ludlow, Grand Valley,
Russell, Enterprise, Sheffield, Spring Creek, Columbus, Warren South,
Garland, Kinzua Dam, Chapman State Park, Tidioute, Clarendon,
Starbrick, Sugar Grove and Bear Lake.
