The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Richland County in north central Ohio...

* Until 1030 PM EDT Tuesday

* At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two and a half inches of 
  rain have already fallen and another slow moving thunderstorm is 
  moving into the area from the northwest. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Mansfield, Shelby, Ontario, Crestline, Plymouth, Lucas, Shenandoah
  and Olivesburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM EDT FOR
RICHLAND COUNTY...

At 610 PM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding near the 
Mansfield airport with numerous roads under flowing water. There was 
also a report of a building impacted by water near the speedway. 
Between three and four inches of rain have already fallen. Flash 
flooding is already occurring.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mansfield, Shelby, Ontario, Crestline, Plymouth, Lucas, Shenandoah
and Olivesburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
