The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Hancock County in northwestern Ohio...

* Until 1045 AM EDT Thursday

* At 438 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Over 
  three inches of rain have already fallen at Findlay Airport and at 
  several gauges along the Blanchard River. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly. Law enforcement in the city of Findlay 
  has already reported several road closures due to high water.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Findlay, Fostoria, Bluffton, McComb, Arlington, Arcadia, Rawson,
  Vanlue, Van Buren, Mount Blanchard, Benton Ridge, Jenera, Mount
  Cory and Williamstown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM EDT FOR
HANCOCK COUNTY...

At 852 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain has moved 
east of Hancock County.  4.68 inches of rain has fallen at the 
Findlay airport. Widespread road closures and flooding has been 
reported and will continue through the morning hours. 

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Findlay, Fostoria, Bluffton, McComb, Arlington, Arcadia, Rawson,
Vanlue, Van Buren, Mount Blanchard, Benton Ridge, Jenera, Mount Cory
and Williamstown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
