The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Orangeburg County in central South Carolina...

* Until 445 PM EST
    
* At 415 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles north of Bamberg, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Orangeburg around 440 PM EST. 
  Brookdale around 445 PM EST.

cancelled. However damaging winds remain likely and a Severe 
Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.  Gusty winds 
are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 700 PM EST for central South
Carolina.
