NORTHWESTERN ALLEGANY AND SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO COUNTIES...
At 708 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding due to
a thunderstorm near Hardy Corners in Cattaraugus County. In addition
radar estimates and automated weather stations in the flash flood
warning are reporting two to three inches of rain have already
fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Olean, Canandaigua, Geneseo, Dansville, Letchworth State Park,
Allegany State Park, Perry and Avon.
Additional rainfall amounts of a half inch are possible in the
warned area.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 390 between exits 5 and 10.

thunderstorms across Cattaraugus and Livingston Counties. In
addition up to three inches of rain have already fallen across a
portion of the warned area. Additional road closures are
possible this evening.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Olean, Canandaigua, Geneseo, Dansville, Letchworth State Park,
Allegany State Park, Perry and Avon.

NORTHWESTERN ALLEGANY AND SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO COUNTIES...
At 1011 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has passed over
the warned area, with up to three inches fallen. This has resulted
in several road closures, and road wash outs through the warned
area. Flash flooding is occurring with several roads closed.
Run off from these storms will continue to bring ponding of water to
low lying roads, and possibly produce additional road closures.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Canandaigua, Geneseo, West Sparta, Dansville, Letchworth State Park,
Rushford and Avon.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 390 between exits 5 and 10.
Interstate 86 between exits 23 and 31.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
