  Central Howard County in northeastern Iowa...

* Until 545 PM CDT

* At 513 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located near
  Elma, or 16 miles east of Osage, moving east at 75 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Cresco around 530 PM CDT.

HOWARD COUNTY...

At 521 PM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located 7 miles
northeast of Elma, or 11 miles west of Cresco, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
