This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms are possible across eastern Upper Michigan this
afternoon and evening. These storms could contain brief gusty
winds and some small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is anticipated at this time.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WESTERN CHIPPEWA AND
MACKINAC COUNTIES...

At 348 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 15 miles north of Newberry to near
McMillan to 10 miles east of Manistique. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Paradise, Whitefish Point, Point Iroquois, Bay Mills, Rudyard,
Curtis, Moran, Brevort, Trout Lake, Hulbert, Epoufette, Strongs,
Garnet, Naubinway, Brimley, Eckerman, Fibre, Rexton, East Lake and
Raco.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
