The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Deaf Smith County in the Panhandle of Texas...

* Until 845 PM CDT
    
* At 825 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles east of Bellview, or 18 miles northwest of
  Friona, moving northeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Deaf Smith County.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN DEAF SMITH COUNTY WILL EXPIRE
AT 845 PM CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened and no longer 
appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire.  However large hail 
and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for the Panhandle
of Texas.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Amarillo.
