Fog has overspread the Maryland and Virginia eastern shore areas this afternoon. Visibilities have dropped to one half mile or less in many locations. Given the mild and moist airmass, the fog is expected to continue throughout the afternoon along with some light rain or drizzle. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the areas of fog. Drive at reduced speeds, and use low beam headlights only.
