.DISCUSSION.../through 12z Friday/A storm force occluded front
over the SE gulf will slowly weaken and drift N into the N gulf by
late tonight. Second wrap of occluded front will move N through
the eastern gulf late tonight and Wed. Made little change to the
forecast as it was handling things well.

Wind will still be the main concern through Wed. Left out high
wind warning for zone 27 through 12z tonight. Think the strongest
winds there will occur this evening as low level jet will be
maximized during that time. Have strong wind headlines in for much
of the remaining outer coast and far S inner channels. There may
end up being 2 rounds of strong wind with initial round tonight
with occluded front, then a second round with second wrap of front
Wed. Strongest winds with second wrap should be over the far E
gulf and central outer coast. Expect storm force winds over the SE
gulf this evening with occluded front then another band of storm
force winds over the E-central and NE gulf late tonight and Wed
with second wrap of front.

Precip will increase from the S this evening as occluded front
moves N, but the N third of the area will only get light amounts
as offshore flow will weaken the precip band. Exception to this
would be on E facing slopes where upslope flow will enhance precip
amounts. Second wrap will bring more precip into the area late
tonight and Wed, with most of this along the outer coast. After
second wrap moves by, precip should become showery. The showers
will slowly diminish later Wed night into Thu night as some weak
low level ridging noses in from the E and helps turn flow more
offshore again. Could see a bit of fog late Thu night and early
Fri morning with more breaks in clouds and lighter winds over the
area.
