New Mexico.

Locally heavy rainfall amounts near two inches are possible today
across the southwest and south central mountains, where localized
flash flooding may develop. Small hail and wind gusts to near 50 mph
are possible with the stronger storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Locally heavy rainfall potential will increase and become more
widespread late Sunday into Monday across central and western New
Mexico. Localized flash flooding is possible. Small hail and wind
gusts to near 50 mph are possible with the stronger storms through
the week.

At 1215 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Cuba, moving southwest at 15 mph.

Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
