* Until late tonight.
* At  5:45 AM Wednesday the stage was 13.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast: The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by 
  this evening.
* Impact: At 13.0 feet: Low areas along BH Reddick, Rooks Bluff, 
  Smokehouse Lake and Herring Roads in Walton County become subject 
  to flooding. Low areas along Little Acre and Strickland Roads in 
  Washington County become subject to flooding.

* Fell below flood stage at  3:07 PM Wednesday.

* Forecast: The river will continue to fall to 12.7 feet by tomorrow 
  morning.

.Near Term [Through Today]...
14 UTC surface analysis shows an area of high pressure across
Northern Louisiana with light north northwesterly flow in place
across our region. Expect another dry day, though with lighter
winds as the pressure gradient relaxes with the surface high
moving closer to the region. With the magnitude of cold advection
diminishing with time today, full sunshine should support
temperatures warming into the upper 50s to lower 60s across the
region.

.Short Term [Tonight Through Sunday]...

High pressure will be centered over the Southeast this weekend.
Expect clear/sunny skies and POPs near zero. Highs will be mainly in
the lower 60s on Saturday and upper 60s on Sunday. Lows will be in
the low 30s on Friday night. A few spots could briefly reach
freezing, but a freeze warning is not expected at this time. Lows
will be in the mid 30s on Saturday night.

.Long Term [Sunday Night Through Friday]...

High pressure will be over the Southeast until late Monday when a
decaying cold front approaches the region. Rain is not expected with
this front, but some clouds may move into northern and western parts
of the region as the front nears. A low will move into the Great
Lakes Region by Wednesday dragging a cold front through the
Southeast. Rain chances will be very low until Tuesday night or
possibly Wednesday (models are not in perfect agreement on timing).
A few thunderstorms are possible as this cold front moves through.
Highs will be in the 70s until Wednesday when the cold front moves
through. After the cold front passes highs will be in the 60s. Lows
will be mainly in the 40s.

VFR conditions under clear skies and relatively light northwest
winds will prevail through the TAF.

.Marine...

A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until this afternoon.
Gusty winds this morning will decrease by early afternoon. Seas will
be high this morning. Seas will begin to subside this afternoon.

.Fire Weather...

Hazardous fire weather conditions are not expected over the next
several days. Though relative humidity levels may fall to critical
thresholds at some locations tomorrow, other necessary Red Flag
criteria will not be met.

.Hydrology...

While most area rivers are cresting or beginning to fall, a few
continue to climb in response to heavy rains the other day and the
subsequent flood wave. Most notably, the Choctawhatchee in north
Florida, the Apalachicola near Blountstown, and Spring Creek near
Iron City. The current forecasts call for the above rivers to crest
in minor flood stage, with the possible exception being the
Choctawhatchee in Bruce. Bruce may reach moderate flood stage early
next week. Rain is not in the forecast until mid-week, so there is
plenty of time for rivers to crest and begin falling before further
aggravation is expected.
