Showers and thunderstorms along a surface boundary continuing to
generate convection across portions of north Louisiana this
morning. For this update, went ahead and increased pops based on
high-res models. Otherwise, heat index values currently above 100
degrees across portions of deep east Texas and Northwest
Louisiana. Heat advisory for this area remains in effect through 7
