  the Tennessee River at Savannah
* until Thursday March 03.
* At 08 PM Wednesday the stage was 370.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* At 371.0 feet...Federal Road is flooded at Lick Creek north of 
  Hamburg. Parts of Lacefield Drive are covered by flood water.

  Tennessee River at Savannah
* At 01 PM Thursday the stage was 369.9 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 369.7 feet Thursday March 
  03.
* At 370.0 feet...Coffee Landing Road is flooding just north of 
  Beason Creek and toward Box Elder Drive. Campsites just north of 
  the mouth of Beason Creek are flooding. Box Elder Drive is flooded.
  Access to sites along Bargeview Lane is cut off. Diamond Island 
  Drive is flooded at Mud Creek just west of Gammill Slough Road. 
  West end of CrossPond Road is flooding. Slough just east of 
  Wilkenson Ferry Drive across the river from Satillo is beginning to
  flood.

SKIES ARE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS MUCH OF THE FORECAST AREA THIS
MORNING WITH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE MID 30S TO THE UPPER
40S. A FEW CLOUDS WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE
FORECAST AREA THIS AFTERNOON OTHERWISE IT WILL BE A QUIET WEATHER
AFTERNOON. CURRENT FORECAST LOOKS GOOD WITH NO UPDATE NEEDED.

UPPER LEVEL TROUGHING REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS THE EASTERN HALF OF
THE UNITED STATES WITH NORTHWEST FLOW REMAINING OVER THE MID
SOUTH. AT THE SURFACE...HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD IN AND
WILL PROVIDE DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS ALONG WITH CONTINUED COOL
AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES TODAY.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLIDE SOUTHEAST TO A POSITION ALONG THE
NORTHERN GULF COAST BY SATURDAY AS THE UPPER TROUGH SHIFTS EAST
AND MID LEVEL HEIGHTS RISE. THIS SHOULD ALLOW FOR A RETURN TO
SOUTHWESTERLY LOW LEVEL FLOW AND CONTINUED DRY CONDITIONS THROUGH
THE WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY WARM BACK TO ABOVE NORMAL
LEVELS...ESPECIALLY BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

ANOTHER SHORTWAVE DISTURBANCE AND ASSOCIATED WEAK SURFACE FRONT
WILL SLIDE ACROSS THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM SHOULD HAVE
LIMITED MOISTURE TO WORK WITH...THEREFORE HAVE ONLY MAINTAINED
SLIGHT CHANCE POPS WITH THE FRONTAL PASSAGE. THIS FRONT SHOULD
WASH OUT OVER THE AREA ON MONDAY WITH CONTINUED MILD TEMPERATURES
BEHIND THE FRONT. A QUICK WARM UP IS ANTICIPATED TUESDAY ALONG
WITH INCREASING GULF MOISTURE.

A STRONGER UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE EAST INTO THE
PLAINS STATES TUESDAY AS SURFACE LOW PRESSURE ORGANIZES AND MOVES
NORTHEAST ACROSS THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THERE HAVE BEEN
SOME RUN TO RUN MODEL INCONSISTENCIES WITH REGARD TO THE PLACEMENT
OF WEATHER FEATURES...WITH MUCH OF THE GUIDANCE SHIFTING
SIGNIFICANTLY NORTHWARD AS COMPARED TO EARLY RUNS. THIS INTRODUCES
A LOWER THAN PREFERRED CONFIDENCE WITH REGARD TO THE EVENTUAL
EVOLUTION OF THIS STORM SYSTEM AND ITS OVERALL IMPACTS ON THE MID
SOUTH. AT THIS TIME...HAVE MAINTAINED CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT TIME PERIOD. ANY
THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE PREDICATED ON THE EVENTUAL TRACK
AND STRENGTH OF THE SYSTEM. THIS WILL BE WATCHED CLOSELY OVER THE
NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

HIGH PRESSURE SHOULD BUILD BACK INTO THE REGION FOR THE END OF
NEXT WEEK WITH A RETURN TO DRY AND COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES
FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.
