Warning for portions of the following river in western Indiana...
Wabash River...
.Lowland flooding will develop along portions of the Wabash River in
the early days of May. Much of east central Illinois and central
Indiana will receive an inch of more of rainfall during the weekend.
At this time flood crests are expected to be lower than those of
middle April.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Additional lowland river flooding will develop during the early days
of May in southern Indiana. Flooding will not be as extensive or as
high as flood waters seen during the middle of April. Flooding will
persist from a few days to a week in southwest Indiana.
Rivers in southern Indiana were approaching bankfull levels late
Friday morning. Much of east central Illinois and central Indiana
will receive an inch or more of rainfall during the weekend.
