THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS,
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP OVERNIGHT...ESPECIALLY ACROSS CENTRAL
KANSAS INTO THE FLINT HILLS. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BE STRONG
TO MARGINALLY SEVERE. THE MAIN THREATS FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE
NICKEL TO QUARTER SIZED HAIL...GUSTY WINDS...AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A FEW STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY MORNING FOR MAINLY SOUTHEAST
KANSAS. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED WITH THIS
ACTIVITY...HOWEVER LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL COULD OCCUR.

A WARMING TREND LOOKS TO COMMENCE SUNDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH
MOST OF THE WORK WEEK. HEAT INDICES IN THE 100 TO 105 DEGREE RANGE
WILL BE COMMON THROUGH THIS TIME FRAME, WITH THE WARMEST HEAT
INDICES AROUND 105 POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

  DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE RAPIDLY DEVELOPING
  OVER MILBERGER...OR 10 MILES EAST OF PFEIFER...MOVING NORTHEAST AT
  15 MPH.

HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS...AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  RUSSELL...MILBERGER...BUNKER HILL...GALATIA AND RUSSELL AIRPORT.
