SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING ACROSS THE WESTERN CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA.
COVERAGE OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE GREATEST OVER THE MOUNTAINS
AND FOOTHILLS. ALL OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES...GUSTY WINDS...AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE...PRODUCING
DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL AS LARGE AS QUARTERS.
