NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER
THE MOUNTAINS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND SPREAD SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE
AREA INTO THE EVENING. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE
WITH DAMAGING DOWNBURST WINDS THE MAIN THREAT. THE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL ALSO BE SLOW MOVING WITH HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE. IF SEVERAL
ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS CAN MOVE OVER THE SAME LOCATIONS...
EXCESSIVE RAINFALL AND ISOLATED FLOODING COULD RESULT...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS.
