* From tonight until Saturday morning.
* At 845 PM Tuesday the stage was 14.7 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast to develop.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* The creek is forecast to rise above flood stage by early Wednesday
  morning then continue rising...reaching near 22.4 feet by Thursday  
  afternoon. The creek will fall below flood stage by Saturday 
  morning.
* At 16 feet...Minor flooding begins in the pastures and fields 
  upstream...right and left bank from the Keiths Mill Road bridge...
  and downstream on the left bank.
  At 20 feet...Minor flooding expands into the pastures...fields and 
  woodlands upstream and downstream from the Keiths Mill Road bridge. 
  Some areas will be under 4 feet of water.
  At 22 feet...Some areas closer to the creek will be under 6 feet of

  Wednesday morning. The creek will fall below flood stage by

* At 6 feet...Flood stage is reached and minor flooding will expand 
  into the natural flood plain of the creek upstream and downstream 
  from the gage at Atlanta Highway...or Georgia Highway 9. Large 
  portions of the sidewalk and boardwalk of the Big Creek Greenway 
  will begin to flood. The areas under the Georgia 400 Highway and 
  McFarland Road will be covered with around one foot of water and 
  a portion of the sidewalk under Majors Road will be covered with

  then continue rising...reaching near 7.6 feet by Wednesday evening. 
  The creek will fall below flood stage Thursday morning.
* At 7 feet...Flood Stage is reached and minor flooding of woodlands 
  and fields begins along the creek between Cumming in Forsyth 
  County...to Alpharetta and Roswell in North Fulton County. Flooding 
  starts to effect portions of The Big Creek Greenway near Alpharetta 
  and some portions may become closed with around one foot of water...
  especially upstream and downstream from the gage on Kimball Bridge 
  Road and near Rock Hill Park. Portions of the YMCA Campground off 
  Preston Ridge Road will begin to flood.
  At 8 feet...Minor flooding continues to expand further into the 
  woodlands and fields along the creek from near Cumming in south 
  Forsyth County to Alpharetta and Roswell in north Fulton County. 
  Additional portions of The Big Creek Greenway have minor flooding 
  with 1 to 2 feet of water. Most of the walking and biking paths 
  will be closed...especially upstream and downstream from the gage

  Lookout Creek will flood causing the roads to be closed. The water

* The creek will rise to near 7 feet by this afternoon. The creek will
  fall to below flood stage by this evening.
* At 7 feet...Minor flooding continues to expand into the natural 
  flood plain of the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at 
  Atlanta Highway or Georgia Highway 9. Large portions of the 
  sidewalk and boardwalk of the Big Creek Greenway will be flooded. 
  The areas under the Georgia 400 Highway and McFarland Road will be 
  covered with around two feet of water. A portion of the sidewalk 
  under Majors Road will be covered with around 3 feet of water.

DRAGGING A COLD FRONT THROUGH THE AREA OVERNIGHT TONIGHT.
SUPERCELL STORMS THAT DEVELOP AHEAD OF THE FRONT...AND POSSIBLE
DEVELOPMENT INTO A SQUALL LINE ACCOMPANYING THE FRONT WILL
PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES ACROSS NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA. THE HIGHEST RISK WILL GENERALLY BE FROM 3 AM TO
11 AM WEDNESDAY. HEAVY RAIN IS ALSO EXPECTED...WITH RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THIS
RAINFALL WILL COMBINE WITH THE SATURATED ANTECEDENT CONDITIONS TO

THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING. MANY AREAS COULD SEE SW WINDS 25 TO 30
MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH. A WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED
ACCORDINGLY.

WRAP AROUND MOISTURE FROM THIS SYSTEM COULD RESULT IN LIGHT

WEDNESDAY EVENING WITH COLDER AIR RUSHING INTO NORTH GEORGIA IN
ITS WAKE. IN ADDITION...LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE AS A STRONG UPPER
LEVEL SYSTEM MOVES OVER THE AREA. EVENTUALLY LATE WEDNESDAY
NIGHT...THIS RAIN WILL MIX WITH SNOW AS TEMPERATURES DROP INTO
THE MID AND UPPER 30S. FOR THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS OF THE
