SHORT WAVE RIDGING ALOFT WILL ARRIVE FROM THE WEST BEHIND A
EASTWARD MOVING SHORT WAVE TROUGH OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST. THIS
ALLOWS FOR A 1033 MB ARCTIC HIGH CENTERED IN NEW YORK AND
PENNSYLVANIA TO BECOME STRETCHED OVER THE BULK OF THE EASTERN
