.DISCUSSION...
Models in decent agreement through at least 60 hours. Models much
more in agreement from previous 24 hours. Models are in good
agreement with upper low moving East across the Arctic.

Long wave trough pattern over central Interior. This will be
reinforced by the Arctic low moving Eastward. This will connect to
the low in the Gulf of Alaska on Sunday.

The upper level ridge will extend from the West Coast of CONUS
northward and then westward across the interior of Alaska by
Tuesday evening.

The significant weather in the next 72 hours will be the
convective potential over the Interior. The thermal trough over
the Central Interior and the occluded front moving north from the
Gulf of Alaska will provide more than enough dynamics to include
moisture and lift to create a ripe convective development area.
Expect large scale convective development over the Central
Interior and Western Interior through Sunday.

Dense fog has been the main culprit along the Arctic Coast and
will likely be present again tonight and Sun morning.

Coastal Hazard Potential Days 3 and 4...None.

.FIRE WEATHER...
Afternoon relative humidities will increase Sunday and Monday
with values above 30 percent by Monday. Temperatures will remain
warm Sunday, but a cooling trend is expected Monday and Tuesday as
an upper level trough drops south over Northern Alaska. No
significant winds are expected.

Isolated to scattered this afternoon and evening thunderstorms
and showers in the upper Kuskokwim valley and vicinity, and south
of Galena in the middle Yukon Valley, and south of Fairbanks along
the Alaska range. For Sunday afternoon and evening...isolated to
scattered thunderstorms from Galena to Tanana and Circle south to
along the Alaska Range.
