1015 AM UPDATE. PER TRENDS...HAVE SLOWED THE ENDING OF THE RAIN THIS
AFTERNOON BY A COUPLE OF HOURS. FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON.

615 AM UPDATE...
USED NEAR TERM MODELS TO BETTER CODE IN THE BREAK IN THE RAIN S THIS
MORNING.  FCST ON OTHERWISE ON TRACK WITH THE RAIN RETURNING FROM
THE W LIKELY NECESSITATING EXTENSION OF OUR ONE AREA FLOOD WARNING W
CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE AREA.

PREV DISCN...
RAIN MOST WIDESPREAD OVER THE MIDDLE OHIO VALLEY EARLY THIS MORNING
WITH A MORE SPORADIC COVERAGE OVER THE CENTRAL APPALACHIANS.  THIS
WAS IN RESPONSE TO GULF INFLOW INTO A SFC WARM FRONT OVER THE MIDDLE
OHIO VALLEY BENEATH A SRN STREAM S/W TROUGH MINORING OUT AS IT MOVES
THROUGH UPPER LEVEL RIDGING.  H5 HEIGHTS WERE PUSHING 580 DM FAR SRN
PORTIONS OF THE AREA EARLY ON OVERNIGHT.

THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF THE RAIN WAS MOVING N INTO THE AREA EARLY THIS
MORNING...BUT THIS TREND WILL REVERSE...AS A NRN STREAM S/W TROUGH
DIGS SEWD INTO THE MIDDLE OHIO VALLEY.  THIS WILL SHUNT THE
PRECIPITATION EWD THROUGH THE AREA DURING THE DAY TODAY.  WHILE A
WEAK SFC BOUNDARY MAY MOVE EWD THROUGH THE AREA AS THE PRECIPITATION
ENDS...THE BETTER DEFINED COLD FRONT...DRIVEN BY THE NRN STREAM
S/W...WILL MOVE THROUGH THIS EVENING.  ONE LAST LINE OF SHOWERS MAY
FIRE UP AHEAD OF THIS FRONT LATE TODAY AS BREAKS OF SUNSHINE MAY
GIVE RISE TO A HINT OF INSTABILITY...BUT THINK THERE WILL BE TOO

BEYOND ITS 13Z EXPIRATION TIME TODAY...AND KEEP AN EYE ON AREAS NE
OF THERE...WHERE FFG VALUES ARE RELATIVELY LOW...ESPECIALLY ON THE
HIGH RIDGES WHERE SNOWPACK IS STILL MELTING INTO THE HYDROLOGICAL

SHOWERS PERSIST IN UPSLOPE FLOW IN THE MOUNTAINS TONIGHT IN THE WAKE
OF THE COLD FRONT.  TEMPERATURES GET LOW ENOUGH FOR SNOW SHOWERS IN
