SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE CURRENTLY DEVELOPING IN THE SIERRA
AND CENTRAL NEVADA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE NUMEROUS IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS. THE
PRIMARY THREATS WITH THE STORMS WILL BE LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL
CAUSING PONDING ON ROADWAYS AND SMALL ROCK SLIDES. OTHER THREATS
INCLUDE SMALL HAIL WHICH MAY ACCUMULATE ON HIGHER ELEVATION ROADS
AND WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH.
