THROUGH NE CO ATTM.  THIS FRONT WILL BE MAKING ITS WAY INTO
SOUTHEAST CO THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS...WITH AN INCREASE IN NORTH
WINDS WHICH WILL VEER AROUND TO THE EAST THEN SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON.  FRONT MAY BRING A DEGREE OR TWO COOL DOWN FOR THE
PLAINS...BUT MIXING MAY OFFSET THIS SOME...RESULTING IN TEMPERATURES
SIMILAR TO YESTERDAY FOR SOUTHERN AND EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE
PLAINS.  MEANWHILE...WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE DISTRICT WILL REMAIN
HOT AND DRY FOR THE MOST PART.

SHORT RANGE HIGH RES MODELS DEVELOP SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE MTS...BUT LIMITED MOISTURE WILL KEEP CAPE VALUES ON THE
SLIM SIDE...WITH THUNDERSTORMS MORE HIGH BASED IN NATURE. GUSTY
ERRATIC WINDS AND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS.  DEPENDING
ON THE AMOUNT OF MOISTURE THAT RETURNS WESTWARD...THE PALMER DIVIDE
COULD SEE THE THREAT OF A STRONG STORM OR TWO...WITH EASTERLY SFC
WINDS BENEATH WESTERLY FLOW ALOFT RESULTING 0-6 KM SHEARS OF AROUND
40 KT. THIS IS SUFFICIENT FOR ORGANIZED SEVERE STORMS.  BUT CAPE MAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS THIS
AFTERNOON BEFORE DIMINISHING THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.  ALTHOUGH
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SPOTTY IN COVERAGE...LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS UP
TO 40 MPH AND LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY STORM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

HOT AND DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED SUNDAY AND MONDAY. THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY DURING THIS PERIOD WILL BE MUCH MORE ISOLATED...AND
RESTRICTED ESSENTIALLY TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN EACH AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. THE PRIMARY STORM THREATS WILL INCLUDE LIGHTNING AND WIND
GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH.
