  Fountain Creek Near Fountain affecting El Paso County.

.Recent heavy rainfall has caused the water level in the Arkansas
River to rise...and it is expected to continue rising through early
Monday morning.  Flooding is occurring along the Arkansas River at
Avondale...while the river at La Junta is expected to rise above
flood stage Sunday morning. Recent heavy rainfall has also caused the
water level in the Fountain Creek to rise above flood stage at
Fountain...and it is expected to remain above flood stage through
the day today.
