.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR MIXED WINTRY PRECIPITATION MONDAY
AFTERNOON AS RAIN CHANGES BRIEFLY TO FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET AND
POSSIBLY ENDS AS SNOW FLURRIES. AT THIS TIME WE THINK THE
ANTECEDENT WARM GROUND TEMPERATURES SHOULD LIMIT SIGNIFICANT
ACCUMULATIONS...HOWEVER..SURFACE TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST TO DROP
BELOW FREEZING BY EVENING ACROSS MOST OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE FORMATION OF BLACK ICE ON ELEVATED
SURFACES AND SECONDARY ROADS.
