SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY EARLY AFTERNOON
ACROSS THE AREA. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE WITH DAMAGING
WINDS AND LARGE HAIL POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SEVERAL POINTS ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER AS WELL AS CHESTER ON THE
MISSISSIPPI ARE IN OR ARE EXPECTED TO EXCEED MAJOR FLOOD STAGE
WITHIN THE NEXT OOUPLE OF DAYS.

HEAT INDEX READINGS WILL APPROACH 105 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON
AND EARLY EVENING HOURS ON MONDAY IN AND AROUND METROPOLITAN ST.
