...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
western and southern Indiana...

  East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...White 
  River...


.Lowland flooding will develop along much of the White and Wabash
Rivers in western and southern Indiana later this week.  High water
as seen in March is possible.  

Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected in much of central and northern
Indiana by Thursday morning. Additional rains in southern Indiana
will generally be less than an inch by Thursday. Portions of southern
Indiana picked from one-half of an inch to possibly over 3 inches by
late Tuesday morning.  Flooding will persist through the week of
April 12 in southern Indiana.  

Late Tuesday morning flooding continued along portions of the White
...East Fork White and Muscatatuck Rivers in southern Indiana from
rains on April 3.  


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* At 22.0 feet...A few local county roads begin to flood and are 
  impassable.  These include Buddha Road south of the gage and 
  Lawrenceport Road.  All local roads across the East Fork of the 
  White River are threatened by high water, and some are closed.  
  Flooding of agricultural lands in Lawrence County is in progress.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
central and southern Indiana...

  Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Eel River...Muscatatuck 
  River...Wabash River...White River...


.Moderate to heavy rainfall through Friday morning will cause
widespread river flooding in southern and portions of central
Indiana. Extensive river flooding approaching and possibly exceeding
levels seen in March is possible this weekend and early next week.
Flooding in southwest Indiana may extend beyond April 20.

Much of central Indiana received one-half to 1 inch of rainfall by
late Wednesday morning.  Additional rainfall along and south of
Interstate 70 may exceed 3 inches in some areas by Friday morning.
Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected in much of central and southern
Indiana.

Late Wednesday morning river levels were rising in central Indiana
but remained relatively low.  Minor flooding continued in portions of
southern Indiana.

  Judah-Logan Road, by the bridge; Logan Bottoms, the gravel part; 
  Donica Church Road, between Logan Bottom and the hill; Peerless 
  Road, by Mica Metals; Little Salt Creek Run; Stumphole Bridge Road,
  near Indiana State Road 450; Huron-Williams Road; Lawrenceport 
  Road; Rivervale Road and Earl Road.

* At 21.2 feet...At this level during December 2013 backwater reached 
  the tailwater of Lake Monroe as Salt Creek stopped falling.  The 
  crest of the river followed 2 days later and reached 27.6 feet at 
  Bedford and caused Salt Creek to rise nearly 6 feet at the 
  tailwater of Monroe Lake.
