...A Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Big Blue River...Big Raccoon Creek...Big Walnut Creek...Buck 
  Creek...Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Eel River...
  Flatrock River...Mississinewa River...Muscatatuck River...South 
  Fork Wildcat Creek...Sugar Creek...Tippecanoe River...Wabash 
  River...White Lick Creek...White River...Wildcat Creek...Patoka
  River...Vermilion River...Kankakee River.


.Widespread flooding continued in much of Indiana Sunday afternoon
and will persist through at least Tuesday. Significant flooding will
occur along the Wabash and portions of the White...Driftwood and
East Fork White Rivers in central...western and southern Indiana.

Rains of 2 to more than 5 inches fell in much of the state from
late Saturday morning through early Sunday afternoon.  The heaviest
rainfall was in west central Indiana and east central Illinois. An
additional inch or more of rain is expected by Monday evening.

Flooding will persist from less than a day on very small streams to
more than 10 days in southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois.

Significant river flooding impacts numerous local and state roads ...
extensive agricultural lands and a few residential areas.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by after midnight tomorrow and 
  continue to rise to near 14.0 feet by Tuesday morning.the river 
  will fall below flood stage by late Thursday morning.
* At 13.2 feet...Lowland flooding in progress along Driftwood River in
  northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011. Double Y Saddle Club 
  area flooded.  At least 6 inches of water flowing over CR 950N to 
  Club. Water is less than one foot away from CR 330W just south of 
  its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is 
  flooded blocking vehicular access to residences near the river 
  bank. Lowell Public Access site is open but ramp is totally 
  flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR 
  900W.

  river will fall below flood stage by Wednesday evening.
* At 11.2 feet...State Road 11 in the Garden City area closed at this 
  level during March 2008 flood.  Every road leading to or crossing 
  the East Fork White River in Bartholomew County except for State 
  Road 46 was flooded during the bigger March 2008 flood.  All roads 
  were flooded in June 2008.

  gravel pit begins to flood.  Livestock and equipment must be 
  relocated to higher ground.  High water surrounds river residences 
  near Rockford.  CR 760 E south of river gaging station is 
  impassable.

  Rd at the RR crossing and West Sparksville Bridge Rd.

  Area, a distance of nearly 1.5 miles.  Four residences on high 
  ground along CR 950 W cannot access CR 950 W by land vehicles.  
  Flood waters approaching North River Road, local roads in the 
  Granville Bridge area and Barton Beach Road.
