...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood 
Warning for portions of the following river in central and southern 
Indiana...

  Sugar Creek...

.Heavy rainfall of 2 to 3 plus inches Friday afternoon and evening
across the area is causing the creek level to rise. Additional
rainfall is possible the next several days, which could
aggravate flooding.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

Indiana...

  Big Raccoon Creek...Big Walnut Creek...East Fork White River...Eel 
  River...Muscatatuck River...Sugar Creek...Wabash River...White Lick
  Creek...White River...Youngs Creek...


.Extensive river flooding continued Saturday in western...central 
and southern Indiana.  The original crest on the White River was 
just south of Newberry...approaching Edwardsport. The crest on the 
East Fork White was approaching Bedford and the secondary crest on 
the Wabash River was at Hutsonville...approaching Riverton. 

Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches fell Friday afternoon and evening in
the counties of northern and east central Tippecanoe...much of
Montgomery...western Boone...Hendricks...western and southern 
Marion...northern portions of Morgan and most of Johnson. Street 
flooding occurred in many locations and caused rapid rises on area 
creeks and streams...which will then lead to renewed rises on the 
rivers.

another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  is fairly frequent...many local and state roads flood.  Seymour 
  gravel pit begins to flood.  Livestock and equipment must be 
  relocated to higher ground.  High water surrounds river residences 
  near Rockford.  CR 760 E south of river gaging station is 
  impassable.

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 13.3 feet by 
  tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday 
  evening.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding approaches local residents located on low 
  flood plain areas on local streams.  State Road 450 just east of 
  Williams is extensively flooded and becomes a recreational area for
  local geese and ducks.  Only the highest campgrounds at Williams 
  Dam are out of water.  Huron and Williams Road (Williams Wooden 
  Bridge road) flooded immediately south of Indiana 450 just west of 
  Williams.  Dillman Road (CR 1000 W)  immediately north of Indiana 
  450 begins to flood. Indiana 450 begins to flood at Coxton Road.

Indiana...

  Big Walnut Creek...East Fork White River...Eel River...Muscatatuck 
  River...Sugar Creek...Wabash River...White River...Youngs Creek...



.Extensive river flooding continued Saturday in western...central 
and southern Indiana.  The original crest on the White River was 
just south of Newberry...approaching Edwardsport. The crest on the 
East Fork White was approaching Bedford and the secondary crest on 
the Wabash River was at Hutsonville...approaching Riverton. 

Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches fell Friday afternoon and evening in
the counties of northern and east central Tippecanoe...much of
Montgomery...western Boone...Hendricks...western and southern 
Marion...northern portions of Morgan and most of Johnson. Street 
flooding occurred in many locations and caused rapid rises on area 
creeks and streams...which will then lead to renewed rises on the 
rivers.


Precautionary and Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 23.0 feet by 
  after midnight tomorrow. Additional rises may be possible 
  thereafter.
* At 24.0 feet...Floodwaters is near the top of all agricultural 
  levees.  Some county roads are impassable.  High water isolates a 
  few rural residents.  Basement flooding begins along Water Street 
  in Montezuma.  Meducsa Aggregates Gravel Company Plant Number 9 
  begins to flood.  On April 27, 2011 at least one Vermillion County 
  road was flooded.

A COLD FRONT FROM THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES TO THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL MOVE TO CENTRAL
INDIANA LATE SUNDAY AND THEN STALL NEAR THE OHIO RIVER BY MONDAY.  MODELS WILL THEN
MOVE A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY MONDAY.  IT WILL BE DRY AND
A LITTLE COOLER AROUND THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES THROUGH THE
GREAT LAKES.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY RETURN LATE NEXT WEEK AS A WARM FRONT MOVES OUR WAY.
HOTTER AND MORE HUMID WEATHER WILL RETURN BY NEXT WEEKEND AS AN UPPER RIDGE

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED NEAR CHICAGO AND EXTREME SOUTHERN INDIANA.
LAPS IS SHOWING CAPES OF OVER 4000 J/KG...HOWEVER UP TO NOW THE AIRMASS HAS
BEEN PARTIALLY CAPPED.  THE CAP MAY BREAK DOWN A LITTLE MORE AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL INCREASE NEXT FEW HOURS.  THE QUESTION IS HOW MUCH AS MODELS DIFFER GREATLY.

THE RAPID REFRESH MODEL SHOWS LOTS OF DEVELOPMENT NEXT FEW HOURS OVER NORTH AND

            MPH WINDS AFFECTING A RESIDENCE SOUTH OF NEWCASTLE
            ROAD...BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD 775 EAST AND COUNTY ROAD 900
            EAST IN SOUTHEAST TIPPECANOE COUNTY. NUMEROUS TREES WEST
            OF THE AFFECTED RESIDENCE HAD TOPS SHEARED OFF OR WERE
            DOWNED COMPLETELY AND A GARAGE AT THE RESIDENCE WAS
            DESTROYED.
