...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Buck Creek...Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Muscatatuck 
  River...Sugar Creek...Wabash River...White River...



.River and stream flooding is expected to return to much of central
Indiana by Friday and renewed flooding to southern Indiana during
the weekend.  A few areas may see slightly higher flood levels than
the highest crests seen since late May.

Much of central Indiana received one half to 3 inches of rain on
an Tuesday.  A few higher received 3 to locally 6 inches.  Widespread
rains of an inch to possibly more than 2 inches is expected by
Thursday night.

Flooding in parts of southwest Indiana may continue past July 15.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011. Double Y Saddle Club 
  area flooded.  At least 6 inches of water flowing over CR 950N to 
  Club. Water is less than one foot away from CR 330W just south of 
  its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is 
  flooded blocking vehicular access to residences near the river 
  bank. Lowell Public Access site is open but ramp is totally 
  flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR 
  900W.

RAIN IS EXPECTED TODAY AND MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES. A THUNDERSTORM
IS POSSIBLE. STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE.

HAZARDS: WATER OVER SECONDARY ROADS. LIGHTNING FROM
THUNDERSTORMS.

TIMING: HEAVY RAIN IS MOST LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION: LOW PRESSURE OVER OKLAHOMA WILL PUSH TOWARD THE OHIO
VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. ABUNDANT MOISTURE WITH THE
SYSTEM MAY RESULT IN HEAVY RAIN AT TIMES. THIS MAY RESULT IN FLASH
FLOODING OVER SATURATED GROUND. AS MUCH AS 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
FALLEN OVER PORTIONS OF CENTRAL INDIANA ON TUESDAY. THIS HAS
CAUSED SIGNIFICANT RISES ON CREEKS AND STREAMS AS WELL AS STREET
FLOODING IN SOME AREAS.
