...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood
Warning for portions of the following rivers in southern Indiana...
Muscatatuck River...White River...Wabash River...
.Lowland flooding and bank full conditions will return to rivers in
southern Indiana. Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding
will once again affect a few local and state roads...low agricultural
land and river parks previously flooded this month.
Much of central and southern Indiana received 1 to 2 inches of rain
since Sunday morning. Little rainfall is expected through Friday.
Most locations will crest or be near crest by Sunday.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

portions of the Muscatatuck and White in southern Indiana. Rivers
were at or near crest levels that are lower than those seen earlier
in the month.
High water will be slow to recede in southern Indiana if central and
southern Indiana receive an inch of rainfall on Saturday. Flooding
could continue in portions of southern Indiana until the end of
April.
Thursday evening...the latest crest on the White River was
at Petersburg in northern Pike county. The Muscatatuck
River in southwest Jackson county was at crest or slowing receding.
Flooding affected a few local roads...low agricultural land and river
