  Sangamon River near Chandlerville affecting Cass and Mason Counties.

.Flooding continues on both ends of the Sangamon River.

On the east end, a slow rise will continue at Monticello through 
tonight before cresting, and the river will remain above flood stage
through the weekend.

On the west end, rises will continue through tonight at Oakford 
and Chandlerville. The flooding at Oakford is expected to subside 
on Sunday, but backwater effects from the Illinois River will keep
Chandlerville above flood stage through Monday.

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil 
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

THE SOUTHEAST CORNER...HAS REACHED INTO THE 70S DUE TO SOME SUNSHINE
AT TIMES...BUT AREAS IN BETWEEN MAINLY IN THE MID 60S. SOME DRIZZLE
IS STILL LOITERING UNDER THE LOWER CLOUD DECK FROM SPRINGFIELD AND
LINCOLN EAST TO NEAR CHAMPAIGN...BUT THIS CONTINUES TO CONTRACT WITH
TIME AND SHOULD BE GONE IN THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO.

FRONTAL BOUNDARY HAS STALLED OUT FROM SOUTHERN KANSAS EASTWARD TO

SOLUTIONS. FLASH FLOOD GUIDANCE VALUES IN SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS WERE
