...The National Weather Service in Lincoln IL has issued a flood 
warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Salt Creek near Greenview affecting Mason and Menard Counties

.Synopsis...
Heavy rain of 1 to 2 inches occurred along much of Salt Creek
Wednesday and Wednesday night, with totals in excess of 2 inches
on the upper reaches southeast of Bloomington. This is causing 
rapid rises, and minor flooding is expected to develop.

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil 
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along this river need to prepare for flooding.

.The rate of rise has slowed on the Salt Creek. Levels will continue 
to rise slowly through Saturday morning, but at the current time it
is expected the creek will crest just below flood stage, at 15.6 
feet.

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil 
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation. River levels are 
expected to continue falling.

Since flooding is no longer expected, this will be the last statement for 
this flooding event.
