* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Flood waters will begin to affect residential yards in 
  the Fork Retch community upstream of Galivants Ferry near the town of Nichols.
  Swampland flooding becomes noticeable and natural boat landings will be

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue to rise to 
  near 12.8 feet by Wednesday evening. additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Flooding will occur in residential areas off Business 
  501, Highway 905 and Highway 90. Water levels one foot deep will surround 
  approximately 20 homes in the Savannah Bluff area. Flood waters will also 
  surround homes in the Lees Landing, Pitch Landing and Riverfront South 
  communties. Flooding will occur near a few homes on Oak Street as well as at 
  Punch Bowl and Pitch Landing.

            MULTIPLE HOMES FLOODED UP TO KNEE DEEP WATER IN SPRING
            MILL PLANTATION AND CAROLINA SHORES. FAMILIES WERE
            EVACUATED FROM SOME OF THESE HOMES AND PEOPLE WERE
            RESCUED FROM 20 VEHICLES. AN EARTHEN DAM AT SUNSET BEACH
            HAS BEEN OVER-TOPPED... AND HEATHER LAKE NEAR THE
            HORRY/BRUNSWICK COUNTY LINE HAS OVER-TOPPED AS WELL. ALL
            OF THIS OCCURRED BETWEEN 6 PM YESTERDAY AND 2 AM TODAY.
