NORTH CAROLINA...WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE
EVENING...WITH SOME FORMING CLUSTERS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS.
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WILL BE THE
MAIN THREATS FROM ANY THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND TONIGHT. HOWEVER...A
FEW OF THE STORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH. ISOLATED FLOODING COULD ALSO DEVELOP...ESPECIALLY IN
LOCATIONS WHERE STORMS REPEATEDLY MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS.
