THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...
EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

THERE IS A RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. THE AREA UNDER HIGHEST THREAT IS EAST OF THE COLORADO
BORDER...HOWEVER A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN POSSIBLE OVER
EAST COLORADO. THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE SEVERE WIND GUSTS. IN
ADDITION...AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO AND MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL
CAN NOT BE RULED OUT OVER NORTHWEST KANSAS.

A STRONG WINTER STORM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY WILL BRING
HEAVY SNOW AND WHITEOUT CONDITIONS TO PARTS OF THE REGION. THE
BEST CHANCE FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IS CURRENTLY ALONG AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM MCCOOK NEBRASKA TO COLBY KANSAS TO SHARON SPRINGS
KANSAS. THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY REGARDING EXACT AMOUNTS AND
TIMING...HOWEVER IT IS BECOMING MORE LIKELY THAT A CRIPPLING
WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT THE REGION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

TUESDAY MORNING WHITEOUT CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP FOR YUMA AND KIT
CARSON COUNTIES. REDUCED VISIBILITIES ARE EXPECTED TO THE EAST AND
SOUTH. IN ADDITION WIND GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
THE DAY. THE WORST CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TUESDAY MORNING.
