SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWING AN UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE DISTURBANCE
CONTINUING TO SHIFT NORTHEAST THROUGH PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL AND
SOUTHERN PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON. THE COMBINATION OF INCREASING LIFT
ACROSS THE AREA AHEAD OF THIS DISTURBANCE...ALONG WITH MODEST
VALUES OF INSTABILITY AND LITTLE/NO CIN...HAVE RESULTED IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE CWA. FORTUNATELY
THE DEEP LAYER SHEAR IS VERY WEAK...SO SOME STORMS HAVE AT TIMES
BEEN ON THE STRONG SIDE...BUT NON HAVE BECOME SEVERE AT THIS
POINT. CERTAINLY THEY ARE RESULTING IN AT LEAST HEAVY
RAIN...POSSIBLY SOME SMALL HAIL. AT THE SFC...THE PATTERN ACROSS
THE CWA IS AGAIN ON THE WEAK SIDE...AND OTHER THAN THUNDERSTORM
AIDED WIND GUSTS...WINDS HAVE BEEN S/SERLY IF NOT MORE VARIABLE IN
DIRECTION. THE MAIN SFC FRONT/OUTFLOW BOUNDARY SITS JUST OFF TO
THE NW OF THE CWA.

THROUGH THE REST OF THE SHORT TERM PERIOD TONIGHT/TOMORROW...FOCUS
REMAINS WITH THIS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING THROUGH AND
RESULTING PRECIPITATION CHANCES. MODELS ARE IN PRETTY GOOD
AGREEMENT SHOWING THE MAIN MID/UPPER LEVEL TROUGH AXIS GENERALLY
DRAPED FROM SW TO NE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE CWA BY SUNRISE
TOMORROW...THEN PUSHING OFF TO THE EAST DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS.
BETWEEN THIS DISTURBANCE MOVING THROUGH THE AREA AND ANOTHER
MOVING ACROSS SRN CANADA...THAT SFC FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL GET
PUSHED INTO THE CWA TONIGHT...AND AGAIN MODEL AGREEMENT NOT BAD
WITH THE PLACEMENT BY SUNRISE TOMORROW DRAPED ROUGHLY THROUGH THE
MIDDLE OF THE CWA. NORTH/NORTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL BUILD IN ACROSS
THE AREA BEHIND THIS FRONT TOMORROW...WITH SOME POTENTIAL OF THE
FRONT BEING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE SERN CORNER OF THE CWA LATE
TOMORROW AFTERNOON. SOME UNCERTAINTY STILL EXISTS WITH HOW
ACTIVITY WILL EVOLVE TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW...BUT THE BETTER
CHANCES POST 00Z REMAIN OVER THE SOUTHEASTERN THIRD...THOUGH POPS
REMAIN ACROSS THE ENTIRE CWA. INTO THE DAYTIME TOMORROW...SOME
MODELS ARE QUICKER THAN OTHERS TO PUSH THE BETTER CHANCES EAST
/PERHAPS BE DRY DURING THE AFTERNOON?/...AND DID LOWER POPS DURING

THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE CONTINUES TO EXPAND OVER THE SOUTHERN TIER
OF THE UNITED STATES AND WILL LIKELY KEEP A FRONTAL SYSTEMS
STALLED OVER OUR REGION. UPPER LEVEL FLOW WILL BE WEAK AND ZONAL
AS THE MAIN JET REMAINS NORTH OF OUR AREA. SEVERE PARAMETERS ARE
RATHER WEAK...AND NOT CONDUCIVE TO WIDESPREAD ORGANIZED
CONVECTION. CONDITIONS ARE SO WEAK FOR SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL
