* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage late Thursday night...
  then continue to rise...reaching near 20.6 feet by Friday evening. The

* At 19 feet...the river begins to cover Riverside Drive and cutoff 
  residents from their homes.

A CHANCE FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
OVER FAR NORTH GEORGIA. ALTHOUGH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED...A FEW STRONG STORMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GUSTY WINDS AND
SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

THERE IS AT LEAST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. THE BEST
CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SATURDAY.
