LINGERING STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY ACROSS THE EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA THROUGH MID MORNING BEFORE PUSHING EAST. WE WILL SEE A BIT OF A REPRIEVE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS CENTRAL IOWA WILL BE IN BETWEEN SYSTEMS. HOWEVER...THAT BEING SAID THERE IS SOME UNCERTAINTY AS TO WHERE THAT FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL ACTUALLY END UP. A BRIEF LULL IN THE WEATHER BEFORE A VIGOROUS SHORT WAVE ARRIVES TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY THAT WILL HELP BRING A SHIFT TO NORTHWEST FLOW TO THE REGION WHILE A LARGE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE BUILDS TO THE WEST.
