.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP AND MOVE INLAND ALONG BOTH THE
EAST AND WEST COAST SEA BREEZES LATE THIS MORNING AND EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. STORMS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE INTERIOR THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON WITH GREATEST COVERAGE OCCURRING ALONG BOUNDARY COLLISIONS
FAVORED NEAR THE VOLUSIA AND BREVARD COUNTY COAST SOUTHWARD THROUGH
OKEECHOBEE COUNTY LATE IN THE DAY. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME
STRONG...ESPECIALLY WHERE THE EAST AND WEST COAST SEA BREEZES
COLLIDE.

STORMS WILL GENERALLY MOVE TOWARDS THE EAST AROUND 5 TO 10 MPH.
FREQUENT TO EXCESSIVE LIGHTNING...SMALL HAIL...AND STRONG WIND GUSTS
UP TO 40 TO 50 MPH ARE THE MAIN THREATS FROM TODAY'S STRONGER
THUNDERSTORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS MAY BRING RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
2 TO 3 INCHES...PRODUCING PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND MINOR
FLOODING.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
OCEAN CONDITIONS WILL GENERATE A LOW TO MODERATE THREAT OF RIP
CURRENTS ALONG AREA BEACHES TODAY. CHECK WITH LOCAL BEACH RESCUE
ON LATEST SURF CONDITIONS AND ALWAYS SWIM NEAR A LIFEGUARD.

.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL FORM ALONG THE EAST AND WEST COAST
SEA BREEZE BOUNDARIES TODAY WITH STORM ACTIVITY INCREASING OVER
THE INTERIOR THROUGH THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. GREATEST COVERAGE
EXPECTED ALONG SEA BREEZE COLLISIONS LATE IN THE DAY FROM NEAR THE
VOLUSIA AND BREVARD COUNTY COAST SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE INTERIOR.
STORMS WILL MOVE TOWARD THE EAST UP TO 10 TO 15 MPH AND WILL
LIKELY MOVE OFFSHORE NORTH OF SEBASTIAN INLET. A FEW STRONGER
STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...PRODUCING WIND GUSTS UP TO 35 KNOTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
DRIER AIR BUILDING INTO THE AREA LATE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK
WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM CHANCES SUNDAY AND
MONDAY. HOWEVER DEEPER MOISTURE WILL THEN MOVE IN AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING FRONTAL BOUNDARY AND LEAD TO GREATER THUNDERSTORM
COVERAGE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.
