THE MAIN IMPACT FROM THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS. WIND: ISOLATED WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MILES PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. TEMPERATURE: THE HEAT INDEX WILL BE BETWEEN 100 AND 105 IN MUCH OF THE METRO AREAS ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON.
