Warning for portions of the following rivers in central and southern 
Indiana...

  Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...

.Lowland flooding will or has developed along portions of the
Muscatatuck River in southern Indiana and the Wabash River in
western Indiana as a result of recent rainfall and snowmelt.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  of cottages a short distance north of US Highway 136.  High water 
  blocks land access to at least one residence.  From April 21 to May

.Lowland flooding and elevated levels continued along the East Fork
White...Muscatatuck...White and Wabash Rivers in western and
southern Indiana late Tuesday morning.  River crests along the Wabash
River from Covington to Vincennes will be similar to those seen last
month.  Flood crests at remaining locations will be significantly
lower than in December.  All flood will end by Friday.

White...Muscatatuck...White and Wabash Rivers in western and
southern Indiana late Tuesday morning.  River crests along the Wabash
River from Covington to Vincennes will be similar to those seen last
month.  Flood crests at remaining locations will be significantly
lower than in December.  All flooding will end by Friday.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

.Lowland flooding and elevated levels continued along the East Fork
White...Muscatatuck...White and Wabash Rivers in western and southern
Indiana Wednesday morning.  River crests along the Wabash River from
Covington to Vincennes will be similar to those seen last month. 
Flood crests at remaining locations will be significantly lower than
in December.  All flooding will end by Monday with rivers returning
to near normal levels in western and southern Indiana by January 22.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and

.Lowland flooding and elevated levels continue along the White...
Muscatatuck and Wabash Rivers in western and southern Indiana.  On
Thursday morning the Wabash River from Covington to Vincennes was
near crest at levels similar to those in December.

Flooding on the White and Muscatatuck Rivers was much less than in
December with the crest approaching Petersburg on the White River
and in the Wheeler Hollow area on the Muscatatuck River.

Flooding will end by Monday with rivers returning to near normal
levels in western and southern Indiana by January 22.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

.Lowland river flooding was drawing to a close on Friday afternoon. 
The Wabash River was at crest at Riverton while the crest on the
White River was at Petersburg.  Flooding will end by Monday with
rivers returning to near normal levels in western and southern
Indiana by January 22.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

WILL SURGE AHEAD OF THIS FRONT...BUT WILL MOSTLY SPREAD EAST OF OUR
REGION. A STRONGER COLD FRONT WILL WILL MOVE THROUGH TUESDAY AS AN
UPPER TROUGH AMPLIFIES ACROSS OUR REGION BY MID WEEK.  THIS UPPER
TROUGH WILL MOVE ON TO THE EAST THURSDAY...BUT ANOTHER UPPER TROUGH

RADAR LOOPS AND WEATHER DEPICTION INDICATES AN AREA OF RAIN OVER THE
LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WHICH MODELS SURGE RAPIDLY NORTHEAST TODAY
TOWARDS EASTERN AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND OHIO.  INDIANA WILL BE AT
