...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Muscatatuck
River...Wabash River...White River...

.Lowland flooding will develop along rivers in portions of central
and southern Indiana. Significant flooding is not expected. Flooding
will affect some local and state roads...low agricultural
land...river parks and recreational activities.  Flooding will begin
from tonight through Friday.

After a dry start to May...much of central and southern Indiana 
received an inch or more of rainfall since May 8...especially north
and east of Indianapolis and in south central Indiana.  Some of
these areas have picked up 2 to more than 3 inches of rain since
May 8.  Additional rainfall of 1 to possibly more than 2 inches is
expected by Thursday afternoon.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

ISSUED AT 215 AM EDT WED MAY 14 2014

A STALLED...SLOW MOVING FRONTAL BOUNDARY FROM SOUTHERN MICHIGAN
TO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY WILL REMAIN STRETCHED ACROSS
INDIANA TODAY AND TONIGHT. SEVERAL UPPER LEVEL WEATHER DISTURBANCES
WILL MOVE NORTHEAST ALONG THE FRONT AND TRIGGER RAIN SHOWERS AND
AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM FROM TIME TO TIME ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA.
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN COULD BE POSSIBLE.

ON EARLY THURSDAY A QUICK MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PUSH
NORTHEAST ALONG THE FRONT AND IN TO THE OHIO VALLEY. AS THIS LOW
PASSES...IT WILL FINALLY DRAG THE STALLED FRONTAL BOUNDARY OUT OF
CENTRAL INDIANA AND ALLOW COOLER AND DRIER AIR TO ARRIVE IN
CENTRAL INDIANA FOR THE END OF THE WORK WEEK AND WEEKEND.

AN UPPER RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE CENTRAL U.S.
EARLY NEXT WEEK ALLOWING TEMPERATURES TO MODERATE ALONG WITH DRIER
WEATHER SUNDAY AND MONDAY. FINALLY AN APPROACHING WARM FRONT WILL
BRING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS BY TUESDAY.

PORTION OF THE FORECAST AREA. UPSTREAM WATER VAPOR AND RADAR
IMAGERY INDICATE PLENTY OF MOISTURE CONTINUING TO PROPAGATE
TOWARDS THE AREA FROM THE SOUTH/SOUTHWEST.

MODEL SOUNDINGS CONTINUE TO INDICATE PRECIPITABLE WATER VALUES OF
UP TO 1.50 INCHES THIS AFTERNOON. RAPID REFRESH HAS A PRETTY GOOD
